Leon

The city of León was founded on the site of a Roman military camp. Its cathedral, one of the most impressive Gothic temples in Spain, stands on the site of an ancient Roman baths and a Romanesque church. It is also related to the Camino de Santiago, a World Heritage Site, is the Hostal of San Marcos, a hospital and hostel for pilgrims and Casa Mayor of the Orden de Santiago. The city has important historical and artistic events in store for us.
