Soria

A surprising city, next to the Duero river. With its medieval streets, the result of the splendour known during the Middle Ages, it preserves an important Romanesque architectural heritage.  It is a small capital, one of the least populated in the country and a literary protagonist and inspiration in several of the legends of Bécquer as well as some verses by the poets Machado or Gerardo Diego. With a natural environment and a set of cave paintings in the open air very close by.
